WORLDWIDE MEDICAL AIR EVACUATION SERVICES

Family Medical Practice performs medical evacuations to all parts of the world on a regular basis.  We always try our best to treat our patients in Vietnam, however in critical situations, we may opt for the expedience of an air-assisted evacuation to one of the best medical facilities in our neighboring countries.  

 

We are able to arrange commercial stretcher services with Vietnam Airlines at short notice and have immediate Exclusive access an Air Ambulance.  We have evacuated patients to Singapore, Thailand, Japan, USA, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, UK, France, Canada, Australia and many other countries world wide.

 

24-HOUR AMBULANCE AND EMEGENCY SERVICES

All Family Medical Practice clinics country wide have fully equipped ambulances on stand-by 24 hours a day, to respond to the emergency needs of our patients. HCMC and Hanoi FMP clinics have imported ambulances described as “state-of-the-art emergency medical units”, which are used for domestic patient transfers, especially from faraway localities in the Mekong Delta in the south as well as the Central Highlands and the northern part of Vietnam, where access by air transportation is restricted. The ambulances have the capacity to transfer two patients at a time and are manned by our emergency doctors and nurses, enabling us to provide immediate treatment and stabilization of patients en route to the clinic.   

    

The vehicles were manufactured in Canada and the U.S and in view of the rising demand for domestic patient transfers within the country, and rising air transfer costs, these cars provide a practical and affordable solution. The ambulances are used firstly as responders to emergency medical services within the city, and secondly to transfer complicated cases from around the country, including areas from the north and northwestern parts of the country. The ambulances are equipped with modern facilities, including a ventilator system, a cardiac monitoring system with ability to transmit data from the car to any of Family Medical Practice’s clinics, an oxygen container, and an automated heart compression unit.
